As most know I'm pretty resistant to joining yet another group to talk about security. There really has to be a value add. Most will only last one meeting and then I don't really see a big value. Although I have to say that I've gotten a ton of value from the "Information Risk Executive Council" (IREC). I've participated in the annual meetings and read their studies and reports. Some really good stuff in here.
I could nit pick, but all in all it's one of 2 groups I really enjoy. If you want to have a good discussion on risk, current issues and resolutions then I'd recommend checking it out.
