In a recent conversation with Nick Guttoso, I checked out his blog (www.gottuso.org). I saw his post on Michael Porter, author of Competitive Strategy, and it's recent changes. It's important as I've been a long supporter of separating our security strategies into two main sections. The first is how we add value, based on competitive strategy five pillars, and the typical protectionist model. The interesting thing is that very few security practitioners have a good foundation in business let alone the core theories of it like Competitive Strategy. I really recommend Nick's post and reading the book.
This got me thinking of posting the RSS feeds that I check out and solicit some new ones from you.
